Amber Roy
ambience architect
A free-spirited modern hippie (without the patchouli) and seasoned entrepreneur, Amber brings warmth, creativity and a welcoming charm to Wilder Lodge.
She knew the moment she stepped into Wilder Lodge that it had the potential to become her dream bed and breakfast. With an entrepreneurial career spanning over 17 years, she possesses valuable first-hand experience when it comes to building businesses. Amber has been working to implement strategies and systems within Wilder Lodge to ensure our team is equipped with everything they need to deliver an unforgettable experience.
She works diligently to make sure that Wilder Lodge is a place where guests can unwind, recharge, and truly feel at home. Her meticulous attention to detail and warm hospitality create an atmosphere that helps to make every stay a memorable experience. She is the familiar face you’ll come to know at Wilder Lodge and handles all things marketing, business development, business operations, human resources and guest experience.
When she’s not chasing Charli around the garden, you can find Amber experimenting with new recipes, working on a project around the house or inspiring others to live more sustainably through The Modern Hippie Project.

Stefano Salvati
handyman
An Italian native, Stefano brings a can-do attitude towards the Wilder Lodge renovations and a deep cultural understanding of how to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Stefano has been a professional welder for the last 7 years, and previously worked as an auto mechanic and artisan leather tanner. He has an aptitude for building and repairing things, which has been extremely valuable as we renovate Wilder Lodge. He was known as a handyman back in Italy, and completed a number of projects that range from building pergolas to landscaping to building retail fixtures.
In true Italian fashion, Stefano is a food aficionado and loves cooking authentic Italian dishes for others to enjoy. During your stay, there’s a good chance he’ll share some morel mushroom risotto, or fresh baked focaccia with you.
Outside of work, you’ll find Stefano foraging for wild mushrooms, going on walkabouts with Charli and practicing his English.
