Before You Book

We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help you better understand the Wilder Lodge experience, and whether our boutique bed & breakfast is the right fit for your trip.

Each guest room at Wilder Lodge accommodates a maximum of 2 guests, with a total of 5 guest rooms available throughout the lodge.

We do allow children under the age of 5 to stay in-room with parents at no additional charge.

As a boutique bed & breakfast with shared common spaces, our occupancy limits are intentionally designed to help maintain a comfortable, relaxed experience for all guests.

Unfortunately, no. We are not a pet-friendly accommodation.

We absolutely adore dogs, but after investing so much into restoring and furnishing Wilder Lodge, we made the difficult decision to keep the property pet-free. Before Wilder Lodge, Amber actually owned and operated a pet hotel and worked with thousands of dogs over the years, so the decision came from experience rather than a lack of love for animals.

Once exceptions are made for one guest, it becomes very difficult to fairly say no to others, and we’ve also seen firsthand how unpredictable damage, accidents, noise, allergies, and wear-and-tear can become in a shared hospitality space.

Absolutely! Amber is personally familiar with the ketogenic diet, plant-based diet and vegetarianism. Please be sure to indicate any food allergies or restrictions while booking. Menu options will be made available to accommodate dietary needs.

Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible. There is one step as you enter the front porch, and a flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms on the 2nd floor.
