We are a household of coffee connoisseurs, so it didn’t take us very long to check out all of the coffee shops in Invermere (and surrounding areas). As always, we suggest checking their hours online to be sure they are open (as hours and staffing requirements often change in-between seasons).
Kicking Horse Café
This local gem is the flagship café of the famous Kicking Horse Coffee brand, known for its bold, organic, and fair-trade roasts. Whether you’re looking for a perfectly pulled espresso, the newest staff experiment, or just a strong, no-nonsense cup of joe, Kicking Horse delivers with quality and care. The newly renovated interior will leave you absolutely awestruck! An absolute must before your adventure in the Rockies. Plus, they offer delicious baked goods and light bites to complement your drink. A must-visit!
Stolen Church Gelato + Coffee
We are big Stolen Church Gelato & Coffee fans! This little cafe is housed in a charming, historic church that was literally relocated to its current spot. They not only serve delicious coffee and warm beverages, but some of the best handcrafted gelato in the Columbia Valley. We love enjoying their breakfast wraps and baked goods on the deck in the summer months. It’s a smaller cafe with minimal seating, so we recommend arriving earlier to secure a table.
Circle Market + Cafe
Circle Market + Cafe is a crunchy dream come true! They’ve combined a cozy café experience with a thoughtfully curated organic and health food market. Their menu features a good selection of delicious, health-conscious options that cater to a number of dietary needs. You can sip your lavender oat milk latte while perusing the attached market for a few local favourites and eco-friendly goods.
Steamboat Cafe (Radium Hot Springs)
One of Radium’s newest additions, Steamboat Cafe is fast-becoming a favourite! They are well-known for their wholesome breakfast and lunch options, including wraps, sandwiches, and homemade treats. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee to go or settling in to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, Steamboat Cafe is a must-visit. Don’t forget to check out all of the locally made goods and souvenirs while you’re there!
The Local Coffeehouse (Fairmont Hot Springs)

This charming café is a favorite among both locals and visitors, serving up rich, expertly brewed coffee alongside a selection of fresh pastries, sandwiches, and light bites.
