We’re a small, family-run, artisan bakery and bed & breakfast in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC, and we’re looking for enthusiastic helpers to join our team this summer! Currently we have two main roles, though ideally, one amazing person could help with both:
Assistant Innkeeper
PART-TIME LEADING TO FULL-TIME
salary: $20+ (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
The Assistant Innkeeper role will primarily be as a support to the Innkeeper at Wilder Lodge. Ensuring that all areas of Wilder Lodge are properly cleaned and ready for guests’ arrival.
What You’ll Do:
- Help with the cleaning and turnover of guest rooms
- Assist with kitchen and market prep
- Support general housekeeping tasks around the property (indoors and outdoors)
- Occasional help with guest services and small events
What We’re Looking For:
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable with cleaning, lifting, and household tasks
- Flexible schedule and willingness to help on short notice
- Friendly and professional demeanour

HOURS: PT hours on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday to start, scaling into a FT position.
Market Assistant
PART-TIME / CASUAL
salary: $20+ (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
What You’ll Do:
- Help load the truck and trailer with products and supplies before market
- Set up and break down our market stall and tent
- Package baked goods and restock items quickly as they sell
- Keep the stall organized and running smoothly throughout the day
What We’re Looking For:
- Energetic and able to work at a fast pace (we typically have a lineup for the first 2 hours of the market)
- Comfortable lifting 30–50 lbs regularly
- Friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
- Willing to learn and take direction
- English-speaking and able to communicate clearly
- Reliable and punctual
